Wide desire like becoming an addict to sex can cause few side effects like; Causing bladder problem for males and vaginal infections for the females when you practice it daily. Becoming an addict makes you to loose control of your sexual urge, which causes most people to become unfaithful individual, because you are just feeding your body a habit it will get use to. Learning control over your emotions helps your to engineer and be responsible of your actions, not the body controlling the host!  The problem is that many ignore the truth which they know just because of their lustful desire. Control like abstinence from wide desire. That is just the remedy!
